Editorial policy
How destinations, routes and recommendations are selected and reviewed.
Selection
We prioritise defining experiences, geographic logic, visitor feedback and practical booking constraints.
Review cycle
Core guides are checked for route coherence and booking availability. Every page displays its review date.
Corrections
Material errors are corrected as soon as they are identified; commercial relationships do not prevent a correction or removal.
How a Trace recommendation is made
What we inspect
We read the direct activity listing for the itinerary, duration, meeting or pickup logic, stated inclusions, access notes and cancellation information. A score is an editorial decision aid, not a customer rating.
How commercial links work
Some booking links are affiliate links. They may generate a commission, but they do not buy a position or change the order of a comparison.
When we exclude an option
We do not present a product as a recommended comparison option when its direct link, key itinerary details or usable image is missing. Live price and availability remain on the official booking page.
Corrections and review
Every guide shows when its catalogue was checked. We update or remove material errors when we find them. Contact details are available on the About page.
