Amsterdam cruise prices: what does the extra money buy?
A transparent comparison of 10 public GetYourGuide listings, viewed in euros on 4 September 2026 without a travel date selected. This is an advertised-price snapshot, not a booking quote or an on-board test.
Three useful conclusions
€1 more can buy 15 more minutes
The audio-guide cruise advertised €12 for 60 minutes. The historic and classic cruises each advertised €13 for 75 minutes: 8.3% more money for 25% more time, equivalent to €10.40 per hour.
Compare the package, not the word “luxury”
Four listings advertise €20, but their titles describe different options. Do not assume unlimited drinks, cheese or cocktails are included in the cheapest variant. Select a date and package before comparing final totals.

We selected 10 Amsterdam city-cruise listings that overlap our existing catalogue, excluding day trips, private charters, seasonal festival cruises and meal-led dinner cruises. This is a convenience sample, not the whole market or a cheapest-in-Amsterdam claim. Currency: EUR; interface: English (UK); no dates selected. We recorded the displayed promotional starting fare, duration, customer rating and review count. Calculations: fare ÷ (minimum minutes ÷ 60); party total = fare × adults. Median = mean of the fifth and sixth sorted fares (€18 and €20). We did not purchase or personally test these cruises.
